Hi all, long time no post! ^-^

I thought I would ask about this:

(Soz about the pic size...I just ripped it without resizing it)

I have not seen this site selling this ebook so I was wondering if they do and what the charge is. It would make a nice prezzi for my nephew.
I know it comes with a CD too, and I have read the first chapter as that’s free to D/L (and it really is a good and informative read!)

So do you sell this or do I need to go to the publishers?

Creepy cover. I haven't seen that mentioned anywhere on the site, so I'm guessing they don't sell it here. I was in Barnes & noble the other day, and they had a similar book written for programming in DB. I was kindof surprised to see it there.

Ah.... Shame that!

So I sup I will have to go and get it from the pubs then.

Strange that the DB Team dont have lots of stuff like this on here

Still, for £4.99 with CD its a good deal.

Thanks for the feedback ESC_

Fascinating! That really goes to show that even past the forum community, DarkBASIC really gets around .

We've never heard of it here. So be sure the product does actually exist in full before handing over your money. You said you read a sample chapter, I'll track it down and see what it's like. Amazing the author didn't consider telling us about this in the first place, guess they don't want to do well on sales

Cheers,

Rich

Interestingly after much Googling this e-book is nowhere to be found, so unless you have a URL AngelEyes?

The image is uploaded to a temp file server that will apparently go offline very soon. Very strange. My first guess would be it's a Mock-up cover but the fact that they have a sample chapter says otherwise.

Angeleyes,
Did you upload that to poser gallery so you could link to it? - and can you provide a link to where you found the book?

Looks a little suspicious to me, maybe the yellow text on a mostly brown backdrop, does'nt seem to gel with me, even if it is a low budget e-book. I'd like to check out the first chapter either way.

I can't seem to find any such company called Proteus Publications either, there are many Proteus Consultants and other strange companys but none that do Publications or E-Books.

Until some (please?) posts a URL otherwise we can probably chalk this up as YAGP.
