FPSC Classic Models and Media / serial number issue when i type in serial i cannot save?

hello ok i am installing fps on my laptop fps is installed and running update 1.19 but now my shaders wont work so i went to userdetails and typed in my serial number and it wont let me save it it says axcess denied how can i solve this issue? if you tell me to run as admin how? i should already be the admin right? please help i feel dumb ive had this issue before bvut on my desktop and that was different

Is FPSC closed when you attempt to save your serial number in the file?

@ teabone yes fps is closed down when i try the serial but im having no luck i dont know what to do!! i had this issue on my desktop but i was able to put my serial number in and save no problem!!! but for some reason on my laptop i cant!!! when i go to save my userdetails after i put the serial number in it says acess denied and will not let me save!

ok i found a temporary solution i copied the notepad typed in the serial then copied over the original notepad and it worked lol computers r a pain in the ass!!! not to mention no matter what i do i cant get doomsters model packs to work with shaders? they are already shader ready but i can get the shaders to work im having issues today lol
