Is there any way to see a list of non-keyword reserved words in DBP? Apparently I can't use 'rows' as a constant, among other words I've come across over the many years.

Would you not find them in the .ini files in the keywords directory? Although it wouldn't list them all it might help. I still do all my stuff in c++.

That's a bug methinks. There's no "rows" in DBP. Another problem with the crappy compiler is the lack of sense, as in CASE SENSE. It's of those DBP quirks.

hehe i remember those.

I don't think the INI files contain any constants or anything else that isn't highlighted as a keyword/command. 'gravity' is also a reserved word.

phaelax, i give you credit for persistence

rows = GET MATRIX ROWS (Matrix Number) `Matrix1Utils 09
gravity = lotsa cloth, dark physics + 1 particle command.

try searching the dbp/help folder for any others you're curious about. and, if you're still needing a (99%-inclusive) list, i'm sure you can whip up an app to parse the ini files and sort 'em out.

lol, yes seriously how did you even remember that stuff?!

So a word is considered reserved if it makes up just part of a command and isn't actually a command on its own?

Yep. Think about how #constants work. When compiled every occurrence of a #constant is replaced with the value of that constant. That would break some commands. E.g

#constant rows 2
a = rows
r = Get Matrix Rows(someNumber)

would become:

a = 2
r = Get matrix 2(someNumber)

It's a bit of a pain I know as common words like rows, player, box etc are reserved but that's the way it is.
