Didn't work for me, got an error. Something about line 424 and filgraph.

Anyway, I still checked out the movies from the folder, and I'm kicking myself in the head that I can't play.

Looks good from the screenshots though, nice work.

I dont know if it works on all computers, but I'v tested it on
several pc's with win. XP and 2k and it should be okay. Be sure to have installed directx 9.

Moonshine: the menu consists of an .mpeg as a background and the
buttons are all *.png with an alpha channel.

It was a corrupt download that messed it up for me. Took forever to download then it didn't work. Which is annoying cos it looks really good.

It is nice ... but there is a simple things I would suggest :
- When I move the mouse up, it looks down ... I would prefer looking up, when I move it up

I was also wondering what kind of battle system you got in there ... the real mordheim rules ? or something else ?

Whatever, it's a great job, I hope you'll continue soon

Hexagram: I'm sorry..

Moonshine: yes, their all sprites.

Damokles: The hit and damage calculations are based on the real
mordheim (warhammer battles) rules, yes. The mouse up/down... was
a bit buggering for me. But I desided to go with the current settings
(I know, it would'nt be that hard to make an options for it but
I did'nt get to that before the deadline).

This beta, is suposed to be an idea for what a mordheim game could
look like. It was make as an final examn for studies as an 3D designer. Altough it does not contain that much actual 3D work,
it was much to learn about low poly rules and the art of putting
a whole project together.

WOW!!! I've never seen anyone play Warhammer who also does DB. I used to play 40K(played as Tyranids), but I haven't had the time for it lately...lol, thats pretty cool

Well, Click, I believe there are some more. Once, I did a program in QBASIC (I didn't know DarkBASIC), which creates you characters for the Warhammer Roleplay.
I was thinking doing this in DarkBASIC, and the created character should be usable in a computer-game.
Btw, in 40K, I play as the imperial guard.

It's very well done. It'd be nice to see even more of it.

Tests out fine on my machine.

Absolutely superb presentation, but I cant work out how to attack! The 1st Skaven beats me strait away. I found block on one of the mouse buttons, but the other key did nothing :/

There's not that few. Infact, the idea for the 40k Tyranid army list was given to GW during a telephone call where an independant adjudication between two arguing brothers playing 40k, along with the concept for Man-O-War and another idea that they didn't use...

Is the download ever going to be fixed, as I've tried all the locations and cannot download from any of them...why don't you try that DB Community web site?!?!

awesome intros and great presentation...

the controls need work though...the mouse is very buggy(you need to set a rotation limit because it flips upside down), and I cant figure out how to attack (I can only block)

I suggest you upload a version with out the cinematics (which take up 70% of the file size). I don't think the opening video needs to be .mpeg as it is just a slide show. If you code it, it will only be about 1 MB.

It would still be large because most of the mpeg data is audio. The only saving you would get by coding that is the video transitions which would then be subject to potential slowdown and loss of sync.

And exactly what is the attack key please?

EDIT: nm, I read the readme...

As far as the battle engine goes, I didn't like it. Having to hold the button to stay equipped. And I swung like mad and never hit him once. But he didn't miss often unless I blocked. At which point I'd have to release my weapon button.

Aside from that, it was worth the 4minute download. Most professional demo I've ever seen in DB.
