So i want to not let my player see all that far with the flashlight. However when i use it it shines all the way down my halls. i want the distance to be shorter. i have tried many flashlight scripts but cant get one to work the way i want. I also played with the fog and ambient but it still goes to far. Any suggestions to how i can get this short distance? I have also been combing the threads to find a solution, so don't tell me to search it, links would be awesome, or just point me somewhere in the right direction. And i am using the new 1.2.16 beta as well.

Most of the flashlight scripts I know of or have seen here work off the ambient light. If you look at the flashlight script itself. When you press the activate button. The ambient light is set. either a hud or a fog is used to give you that cone of light feel. So unless you adjust the brightness of the ambient light being used in the flash light script. thats the only way youll be able to do what you'd like.

I tried this one it kinda works, i don't like how i have to hold down the f key, and the duration is to short, i am kinda looking for a hybrid of the two. I am also don't know how to edit scripts well so i could try to idk. thx for the help guys.
