Hi.
I have used DarkBASIC Pro for a week but I've a problem :

I can only export my 3D objects to STL, DAE or OBJ format, but DarkBASIC with the "Load Object" command only read X (DirectX) files.

So my question is : How can I load STL, DAE or OBJ files as object in my game.

With my advenced thanks.

Hi

Thank you for your answer.

I'm using Autodesk Maya. I know that there is a plugin in DirectX package, but i don't want to download all the DirectX package so can you give me a download link ?

With my advanced thanks.

Got to agree - I hate trying to get 3D objects which I've purchased working with DB Pro. It really puts me off buying them.

What I usually do (with varying success) is import them into DeleD then export them as .x format.

DeleD is available as a free download: http://www.delgine.com/

Hope this helps,

James

I hope I'm not overstepping my boundary here but I believe I can help. Blender is an animation program that can export as a DirectX file directly from it. All you have to do is check the User Prefrences and checkmark "Export DirectX". Once that is done you can Import your 3d file into Blender and then export it as an X file.
