I am having a problem trying to create a building with rooms in it. Every time I create a room and want to add another room inside like say a bathroom with tile walls in makes it so the outside of the building also has title wall too. Instead of the wall that the prefab already had. I tried clicking exterior/exterior mode, as well as floor mode or just wall mode.

Can someone please tell me how to make it so when I create a room inside of a building it only changes the walls on the inside and not on the outside of the building as well. Thanks

Hi JoeyOsoGood
I think I understand your question, using the "paint only segment walls" mode/(M)key you should get the desired results. I tested using latest 1.20.16 works fine. Paints an inside room leaving outside wall unchanged. I would try it again and double check everything.

If you look along the top of the editor window, you'll see 2 buttons for painting exterior and interior segments, try those as well...

Let me double check to make sure i am explaining right. So say I load a prefab room like small study. I then go to my segments and pick from my model pack hanger bay low as another style of room in the study. I then click interior mode and start to click however everything including the outside walls change as well. I try this again except click exterior mode and same result too.
I notice when I click x or a, nothing changes like showing me I clicked anything however when I use the exterior mode it creates walls.
Hope then sheds a little more light. Thanks guys
