Nice try Puffy, but it is obviously a scene from the lawnmower man 2. You know with all that wickedly realistic Cyberspace stuff and everything , just in black and white.

Cheers

Pi? Please be some sad looking logo for a kiddie superhero (Super Pi, lord of maths!), and not a member logo for a pi .com site!!!! Have you actually searched for pi? God. Trust me, this forum, or even MS XML & StarTrek forum even, would be the coolest thing around (ie. anti-geek) compared to any of those sites

Lawnmower man 2 is a wonderful excersize in boundless stupidity and wasting good money. Happily, I doubt Puffy invested much in his excellent avatar, so the two have little in common .

Your right. Puff has obviously invested nothing in his avatar.

Hope you're not referring to mine because my Av/Sig is an artists conception of Leon from Resident Evil 2, the full image actually includes Ada and Tyrant though.

Just turn up the contrast for the 50x50 or use another kind of filtering when resizing and you should get a bit more detail in it. Still, nice job.

I sure feel like a psgeek now, cause your post made a lot of sense. Except that I think you were referring to "outer Glow" instead of corona. Or you were using some other filter.

p.s Sinelines are great. ;D

I hope you're not saying anime sucks, it's the only field of animation I've seen a bit of varity in. In America you got three basic types, blocky MTV style cartoons (aka Clone High, Samurai Jack, those 5 minute Starwars cartoons), the clasic Disney style (anything released in theatures really), and Flash style cartoons. Anime seams to be the only style of animation that tries to be different or new.

I'm referring to all anime avatars.

Anime is about as different and new as rocks on a beach. Do you really want to argue through this again? I'd be more than glad too. I have some excellent web resources backing up my cases and I've been dying to throw the URLs around.

In my opinion you've not seen enough to truely say all anime is generic, maybe the Crap they throw on tv (and that's just what it is after all the editing) is but not the good stuff. The Ruronni Kenshin movies (Samurai X), Angel's Egg, Urusei Yatsura 2: Beautiful Dreamer, Ultra Q Part 2, Manie Manie, Robot Carnival, Bavi Stock, Goshogun: Etranger, Ai City, Battle Royal High School, Iria: Zeiram the Animation, Azumanga Daioh, Evangelion, Lain, Metropols, and 'X' all contain very different and unique stories as well as animation style, they also have never and probable won't be shown on TV. Hell the entire 80's can be used as one big argument that anime is anything but generic. Anime isn't even a genra, it's a medium, a way to express a story or art. If you realy doubt anime can be artist I sudgest you look at Yoshi-taka Amano (I had to add the - otherwise the language filter kicks in), perhaps one of the best anime artist out there.

My point is that my Avatar isn't anime, it's a US artist's drawing of Resident Evil 2 characters. And other then my own and Koshi's Avatars, I haven't seen very many people at all that have avatars even remotely similar to Anime.

Actually, my Avatar is based off of a "How To Draw Anime" template, so its somewhat anime...

Not really, mine came from the game "Ico". I guess you could call it anime but it was in a more art centered style. I wouldn't really call your avitar anime, Omega. Those how to draw anime things aren't really that good.

Heh, I thought we were just having a laugh at old Poofy there.

Personally my own lack of colour avatar was something I nabbed about 30 secs after thinking I wouldn't mind an animated avatar. Wasn't particularly bothered, but quite like it in a head spinney kind of way. Used to have a morphing picture of the back of my head that then had my face coming through it. Simple, but effective, effort from around a decade ago. But I lost it

Prefer your new Avatar BTW, even if it does make you look like a girl Heh, good move on the lack of colour as well. Join the no-colour avatar force now!

I'm in a weird sunday mood...

Whohoo! Another lack of colour avatar! Nice.

Now, c'mon USA, bring us some nice non-color avatars. Raven is actually British, and DBZ lives in a particle accelerator, so neither really count!

Cheers

lmao ... well if people think i'm a girl or the next one will probably be gay, then ya know whatever.
i like it, if others wanna make something out of it which isn't there then really that's just pathetic wouldn't you say?

ya know the amusing thing about you Divide, is that somehow you think that what your doing is always a joke that only i don't get.
maybe i don't, but then i'm not exactly the only one around here who doesn't find you funny for your jokes.

wonder if you were picked on when you were younger Divide, just fancy taking it out on me cause i'm on of those guys who always used to throw you in with the trash hahaa
it's the lil accomplishments that count for you, eh hahaa

ya know i'd probably actually bother sitting here making fun back at you, at the things you do and say here; ya know if i like cared
