I will assume "Android MK player" is simply referring to the one on the Android Market / Google Play, which is the most up-to-date.

The latest player update no longer receives broadcasts for me. I\'m using 108Beta9 on tier 1 for windows 7 32 bits. Is there a place where I can get an older version of the player? I tried already on two different networks and tried to isolate the problem, but the only difference was that before the player update it worked correctly.
Edit: Got it to work by updating to 108Beta12.

That would have been my suggestion.

Moderator, I suspect the post by Technol has nothing to do with AGK.

To update the Android Player, eIther build your own or check for latest in Android Play Store and download it. Or you can download it from the "My Products" page after you log into your TGC account. That one is the same version as the current v10817 beta.

I don't know what version is in the Android store. But you want to be careful to make sure that it is the same version as the AppGameKit IDE you are running. I don't have access to an Android device at the moment to check.

Best software AppGameKit is ultimately showing up into its own, with regular updates, and more power.

My AGK-player is downloading the app and as soon as it start to play, it start downloading again.

So I can't use my mobile device to test the app. Where can I start searching for the error?

AGK player: 10000008 build aug 6 2013
Samsung GT-I9001 2.3.5
Android 2.3

Edit:

I was testing some examples included with AGK. Some are working, some just crash (no control. Need to terminate by system) and some have the problem mentioned above.

I am part of the problem and will always be.

About my Enligh. No I can not write it very well.

It sounds like you need to download the latest Player.

AGK v10819 Player was published in Sep 2013. So it looks like you have an older Player.

It is sort of important to make sure to have the same Player version as your Windows AppGameKit IDE.

Your TGC 'My Products' has a link for it.

EDIT: When I look up the AppGameKit Player in the Google Play Store, it shows that it was updated 6-Sep-2013 and is for v10819.

as AL says, the google play store one should be fine. Unfortunately it is sort of hard to tell the AppGameKit player version. The play store shows Sep 6, 2013 right under the screenshots. The player itself shows "1000008 build Aug 6, 2013 at the bottom". Now that the prebuilt interpreter is packaged with the update I tend to build my own so I can name it to match the beta version. This way I can flop to older versions if I'm having issues.

I have been doing this with both Android and iOS since v1076. It makes for better testing capabilities (regarding my role as AppGameKit Community Tester). It lets me test code in different versions to see where/when a bug pops up. (I have 16 different IDE versions installed on my 'work' computer.)

Agreed! It also gives you lots of practice with Eclipse and XCode (I need more practice with XCode...).
