Hi all folks, my flight sim continue to grown up,day after day but now I am facing an old unresolved problem:

Take a look to the attached pic pls:

I have a terrain as a giant X object with his own texture.
This terrain has a really flat zone where I put a big box object (Xsize=5000, Ysize=0.5, Zsize=5000) with an airport texture.

Looking the attached pic you can notice how the airport texture mixing with the terrain texture even though it is above the terrain.

I tried to lift the airport object height when my airplane is rising his altitude.. a ugly trick but I reached less texture mixing but I am sure (I hope..) someone here already faced and solved this problem!.

I repeat the airport object is above the terrain object so seems that more the camera is far from the airport object and more the texture mixing is bad and ugly! Help!!

Try setting the camera NEAR range to larger value; Eg: Set Camera Range CameraId, Near, Far

Near should be larger than the distance between the surfaces

Hey Chris its working great!

I have just another little doubt about:
In some external view I have the airplane nearest than the distance between the surfaces!

So I solved the textures mixing problem but I can't see my airplane in the external view.. :\

EDIT:
it's working good even without using too high "near" value!
So solved! THANK YOU!
