Update

I will be implementing a system whereby you can learn spells from old books found later on in the level and 'summon' allied creatures and use them at your disposal, but only with limited health so not to 'overcrowd' the game to become to easy.

So hear is my review:

Gameplay: I really enjoyed playing the game, i liked how the zombies were on the easy side but you still felt like you needed to kill them quickly and not to joke around with them. On another note i felt like you could move really fast and it speed up the gameplay too 8/10

Graphics:Overall I really liked the lighting, also the fog effect was nice, especially when you went outside. I liked the characters as well but of course they are made by Bond 1 so what do you expect. The weapon is the same just made by Errant AI. 7/10

final rating of the review
7.5/10
Great work!

one of the things you should do is disable the jump button. so players like him won't do things like that with your game. it makes your game look bad when people play it like that on youtube. -part of good level design is to keep the player thinking there is more beyond wall of your level even if not.

more than what meets the eye

A little too grey, perhaps? Adding yellowish streetlights could give more atmosphere and depth.

So after mucking around with FPSC some more i have decided to do a complete re-work of the game. Same concept different story and setting.

New Storyline:

It was 2845 and the Government controlled everything, A kinda big brother kinda set-up, I didn't like it. That's how i got into Blackwall Asylum. Well i got here in this asylum because i didn't like the system and they deemed me insane, They put me into a deep sleep for 50 years. I woke up about an hour ago, Everything has changed, I can hear noises coming from outside my room. My name is John Adams and im the one who broke the system and made civilization fall, this may not mean much to you now but as i step outside this door im sure you will, You see after i voiced my dislike of the government everyone else in the street heard of me and started to rebel against the system, the government tried everything to stop it- Guns, Riot Police, Kerfews. But it all failed, in the end the government dispersed chemicals into the croud which would kill them, the things is, the government didnt count on one thing. The dead coming back to life.

The story is a still being tweaked and polished up.

My initial thought is, lighting. It could do with improving somewhat.
Its not too bad as it is now, I just feel by changing the lighting colour pallette to a more reduced tone, you would yield better results.

Example of what i mean.

Also, I would change those boards that you laid down for people to run over. That seemed annoying to try to navigate! haha.

EDIT - Just going back to the colours thing. whenever you are trying to light an area, try to stick to the same colour light as the main texture for that area. Unless of course you are trying to show emergency lights or something similar.
