hey all. i just found a new free application by Autodesk (the 3dmax/maya creator)

i know that darkbasic is all about mixing a media files all togeather to create a game, thats why i wanted to post this project here..

basicly, you making a serius of a real life figure photos, uploading to that app, and all it does, it creates a realistic mesh out of it that you can export to a model!

how cool is that?

not sure. it wasnt my videos on youtube.. i just found them

but it seems like you can export it to any mesh file format, edit it with blender or 3dmax and decrease the polygon count as you like.

tomorrow ill start playing with it. i will take my camera and start "modeling"

Is it me, or does that look voxel based?

It doesn't really matter how high the poly count is (if it's high enough of course), because you can always decrease it afterwards.

thats the hole point of this project.. you can export in plenty of model formats, import it via some modeling application and start editing the vectors to decrease the polygon count
