due out Q2 2004, this has got to be close to one of the most under hyped of the Final Fantasy series ... bar IX which was the final Playstation version.
In the same respect this is also the final Playstation2 version of Final Fantasy, as XIII is set for the Playstation3 upon release Early 2005.
So what does this new adventure have that will make it great for Final Fantasy players... well like X-2 which is the continuation of the X storyline, XII will actually be a prequal to FFO (FFXI) aimed at the online players market. Giving fans a well deserved and lengthy story behind Vana'Diel.
Currently not much information has been released and i've not had enough time to translate the entire prologe.
What i know are the main characters are called Van and Ashley...
Van is eager to look for adventure and Ashley ends up tagging along to make sure he doesn't get into too much trouble. But somehow (as always) they end up getting in the middle of a conspiricy to take down the four major powers of Diel.
Looks pretty fantastic and the new menu's make it refreshingly different - i'm looking forward to it.
