Hello. I edited "Synergy Editor.cfg" file to use DBP OOP precompiler, but it doesn't work. Here is what I've changed:

I've placed DBP_OOP.exe in "Compiler" directory. I also tried to put it in the root directory and in "Editor" directory, but it doesn't work. Synergy just doesn't run the precompiler, sending my source files directly to default DBPro ccompiler.

What am I doing wrong?

In case it's unclear what I am trying to achieve:

Here's the precompiler I am talking about: http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=121860

Synergy IDE is the default Dark Basic Pro code editor for the latest version. In thisthread it is told that

Quote: "* Precompilers supported through editing of compiler location"

But I can't make it work.

This thread mentions Synergy help, but the site is down and it seems there is no help file for IDE in the default DB Pro Free...

Hi Maxxim,

I don't think the version of Synergy Editor that you have supports pre-compilers beyond just replacing the DBP Compiler.

Your pre-compiler (replace DBP Compiler) will be provided with the .dbpro file, and the working directory will be changed to the temp path. It will be up to the pre-compiler to execute the DBP Compiler.

Hi John Y.
Thank your for the answer. I see. The version of IDE that I have is the one that ships with the latest version of DBPro Free. Is it the only version that is currently availablle for distribution?
