Dark Basic Pro cant seem to read that far of a distance in my game and has the backdrop show up if you move too far. Is there a way to prevent this from happening?

Be careful though. The higher you set the range, the more inaccurate the depth buffer becomes (since it's limited to 32 bit). In English, objects too close to each other will overlap and cause weird artifacts.

Usually if you have to expand the camera range, it's a sign that the general scale of your game is too large.
