I updated it to latest beta 17! it was working all fine before! now it gives me that error when I launch it:
The application has encountered a problem and needs to close!......\"

Have you tried reverting betas or reinstalling the beta? Consider these options before rushing to the forums.

I occasionally get this error. Open task manager and make sure that "FPSC-MapEditor.exe" isn't running before you start FPSC. If it still crashes, then simply restart your computer. Works for me every time.

I have this problem with windows 8 there a few things I have to do to stop it from crashing.


1 :- Run as administrator

2 :- Tell antivirus to make fpsc an exception

3: - Turn of UAC or have it on Min.

4:- Install fpsc out of program files.
