Hey guys,

My band are runners up to play at a fairly big festival, but we need to get as many people to vote for us as possible

I was going to say the band name doesn't travel very well, but it looks like you are UK based too. If you have chance to rethink the name, I think you should.

I quite like Song 7, I'm glad you are working to make something more interesting because to be honest the first two sound painfully generic. Your band sounds technically pretty solid though. The vocalist has a potentially interesting voice but sounded a bit weak on the two with vocals. I think it would help him to listen to a wide range of vocalists to work out his own style; David Bowie immediately comes to mind, I'm not saying to copycat but there are pointers to take from the masters.

I agree with BatVink, ditch the name. How about just calling yourselves "Sun" or "Sol" or "Solar"? There's a load of cool sounding words to do with the sun. "Soil" probably isn't good to go with since it also means poop!

The difficulty in learning is not acquiring new knowledge but relinquishing the old.
