Sooo I decided on a whim to participate in ludum dare. I saw on friday it was starting in half an hour and thought, hey, what the hell.
I was thinking I'd make something a little polished, buuuut I haven't been doing much devving lately so I'm a little rusty, AND to top it off I used Ogre, which I've never really used before. the whole project tops out at 2500 lines. Some of it is repetive mesh generation, some of it is copied and pasted (from standard frameworks), but most of it is freshly written!
I also was distracted a bit (I did a 48hr desktop screenshot timelapse so when I upload that I'll really be able to see how distracted I was xD) but I spent a while coding. Reaching 24 hours awake... I think I'll just be lazy for the rest of today.
But yeah! First time participating in a code jam! Next time I'll be a bit more prepared, so that I can actually add some real gameplay elements to it! ATM it's only kinda neat (IMO :3).
