Hi riccetts
I know the standard animation list only goes up to like #92, I think? So is this a custom character or animation? Also in the characters .fpe file what frames are called for "anim=121"?

Try this,I think you have the wrong animation number.

And I think that it wont work on all characters.I have tried it only on the TF 341 Chars

Will it work with any of the scifi or ww2 models if so which ones. If someone could tell me what models it works with if not.
yashasp9,
TF 341 Chars means nothing to me, what characters?
Thanks for the code though.

I see how it works,if there is no animation 121 then the char was not made with that animation. Is this correct?
If so how can I include it with milkshape?

@ riccetts
Correct. In the characters .fpe file is the list of animations to play. Take for instance "anim=1 210,234". So animate=1 in your .fpi script file calls for frames 210 to 234 to play.
Try loading your character into milkshape and see what animations are available. Maybe something close to sitting idle is there? Note what frames they are and add them to your characters .fpefile. Crouching kind of looks like it might work for sitting

best luck

I'm not sure about with which chars it will work.By TF 341 Chars I meant model Pack 53.

I think the only models that have seated animations are the ones in model pack 53. I've actually never really played around with that part of the animations in that pack yet. Soon!

Using the standard characer, I have used the "climbing" animation. I'm not sure what the numeric designation to use, however. You have to do a lot of tweaking to get it to look right and of course there is no particular animation for the npc to do anything while sitting. Also, you will never get the npc to look perfect using this animation.

Tax78 is good at adding custom animations. He has added two sitting animations for me on an npc. Contact him and he will give you a quote. He is very reasonable cost-wise. I plan on having him do more work for me.
