Looper is a remake of the first game I ever type in from a magazine back in 1984. Originally programmed for the Commodore Vic-20 by David Thacker.

Update: I have combined the primary and secondary main loops and changed the way it handles DirectX Lost Device.

this is really great, I still have my old vic-20 and am thinking about reproducing an up to date version of "blue meanies" and some of the other games for the vic.

The only program I had was compiling the code in visual express 2008, got the following errors, maybe because I need to update my version of dark GDK:

, 1>.\Looper.cpp(347) : error C3861: 'dbDesktopWidth': identifier not found
1>.\Looper.cpp(347) : error C3861: 'dbDesktopHeight': identifier not found

I compiled this with DarkGDK Update - 26th October 2010, for Visual C++ 2008 Express Edition - V9.

oops: Just thought I should mention, I specified V9 because this update also includes the headers and libs for Visual C++ 2010.

I've now updated to the Oct2010 for both 2008 and 2010 visual studio versions. All works ok now.

thanks for your help
