Hi guys,

1)I would to know if an occluded object continue to exist with his proprierties about collision.
In other words, I have box1 that is occluded by box2.
Meanwhile box3 going to hit box1.. the collision happen or not??
And If these boxes are DarkDynamix (or darkPhysics) actors?

2) What is the techincal difference between an object hidden by HIDE OBJECT COMMAND and a object OCCLUDED? It's the same thing?

Thank you!

They probably are, but it might be dependent on DarkDynamix / DarkPhysic's implementation rather than DarkOcclusion's, at least if the latter set the internal exclusion flags for frames it deems invisible, which is likely the case.

mm thank you Rudolpho, I think DarkOcclusion working just on DBPro objects leaving DarkDynamix counterparts working normally.. but maybe I need just to make some experiments about.

Hi Alduce,

1)
Dark Occlusion only changes the internal exclusion flags of the objects. So it won't affect any other properties of the object such as collision.

2)
If i recall correctly Hide Object only prevents the object from being rendered while Exluding an object will skip the entire object in the internal update loop.
