Where do I place the video just after it loads. I want the cut scene to play before level loads right after you click new. I want the cut scene to fade to player. I was looking on the title fpi but I don't know where it would go.
Any help with this one?

Hi

Do i get you right... You want to play a movie right after the loading screen befor player camera is shown and player gets control?

This is possible, but you have to edit your setuplevel.fpi. Insert this line (example) somewhere on the top:

You still have that ugly FPS Creator fade in. I dont know how to get rid of it, i think its hardcoded into FPSC.

A quick work around would be to place a story zone on top of your player start and set it to play your movie.

That is exactly how you do it...however keep in mind one thing- since there is no transition from loading screen to game to storyzone, and it just pops from loading screen to storyzone, whatever music or sound you have playing for the loading screen will continue to play throughout your storyzone video. So in your vid make sure the loading audio would be suitable for the storyzone as well. Hope that helped.

A work around if your not using a storyzone and you don't like the "standard fadein" is to make your own "fullscreen" hud and have it fade-out afew sec's after the level has loaded.
Here's the script I use,very simple
Give this to a trigger and place over player start. Hud fades out after 3 secs'. Start level is already loaded. Use your imagination for the hud.
best
