I make a texture with paint.net and erase the white background. then I saved it as a jpg file. When I create my overlay with model maker 2 the background white color keeps showing up. How do I create a texture without the white background?
Thanks

Howdy,

If you mean, by deleting the white, make it transparent. And then, saving it as a JPG. That won't work to my knowledge. JPG can't handle transparency.
Save as a PNG or DDS file. That at least will save it with transparency.
How it behaves within Model Maker 2, i don't know, haven't got it.
But this should work.
Else.. make black what is white, maybe that will help, if saving as a PNG or DDS doesn't work.

Anubis thanks

I figured this out earlier use save the picture as a dds file. The picture that shows in the category will be a bmp file.
