Just wondering, is it possible to remove action keys from a game? I do not want my character to sprint and jump, so I can only think of binding the keys to something obscure

I believe you can do it with a script similar to this:

I was thinking if it can be changed in the setup.ini file? In it, it says stuff like key1=17 and perhaps removing one removes jump and sprint? I also do not know where I can put that script

Just place a triggerzone besides (outside) the gamezone with the above script.
recommend 1 or 2 segments below the player start.
If you place it at a random place (the triggerzone), say 1st segment, floor 0.. and your player starts at 15th segment, floor 14.. most probably it will take a while (or even not) to activate.

Other option is to put a dynamic entity, say a light with range 0, in your map with the above script instead of light1.fpi. Make this entity active from the start. (Open entity, Physics, always active YES.)

Thanks, I tried that and it seems to remove the jump. Thanks a lot!

@Muzzles56 :- I would not use a script if you don't want the key to be used at all in the game.

Just simple to just del the number next to KEY in the setup.ini.

KEY5=

THat will stop your character from jumping in the whole game.

KEY!!=

This will remove sprint.

Using a script to do this just uses extra memory when not needed.
