Hey, I downloaded the free version of FPS Creator and i also installed the update. After the update i had some new Items (Characters, ...) but some of the Items has no textures. They are all black or i can not see them. Now i wanted to ask the community. Maybe you can help me.

I think that happens when the engine is looking for textures that are missing or in the wrong folder. Did you move them from their installed defaults or rename them in any way? It's also possible that the free version is in a folder called FPSC free while the update might have installed to just an FPSC folder. Either way I'm pretty sure it is a file path issue.

Place and entity you know has a problem then right click on and look at the texture path and the shader/effects path. Then make sure the texture is in that path and the shader as well. Also make sure the shader has all the textures it needs to make it happen. Also try deleting the shader in that line and see if it helps.

Okay thanks. Yes it is a file path issue, because a didn't move anything. But i'll try it.

Since you have the new characters to select, it appears to have installed into the correct folder.

Open the folder FPS Creator Free/Files/entitybank/scifi/characters.

Take a screenshot of the contents in this folder and post so we can see if all the textures are in there, then we can at least see if you have everything installed correctly.

I don't trip over...I do random gravity checks.
