Well, yes i remember the Marco's App.
But, correct me if i'm wrong, he used the 3D. I'm using the old Pseudo 3D (2D) method.
I started looking at the Lou's page on internet but i think the projection is not needed.
I don't know why he use the projection, on this kind of engine.
Especially if we can't draw polygons with AGK.
So i'm using some 400x2 px road sprites, and maybe i will use bigger in future.
In the spare time i will continue this engine until it will be perfect, with tunnels, elevated ways, and much features.
And, of course, the editor for users to design new tracks to play online and in solo mode.
I hope can be the 2D version of "Trackmania" with 254 players on the same track.
