Battlefield 3.

But I do like Call of Juarez 1/2/4, Farcry 2/3, Arma 2/3, Fallout 3/NV... heck, I play too many FPS games

I got a fever, and the only prescription, is more memes.

Well the first Deus Ex game is in my top list, and the Thief series is probably number 1.

But if you're going for a more traditional FPS (run around kill everything) then I'd have to say Unreal is the best.

Borderlands. The first one, though. The second was good, but it just didn't feel as exciting to play.

For no strings attached carnage, I'm gonna jump on and say Borderlands 2, I love playing my Mechromancer and I've just started with the Psycho they've recently added. But as said, it was easy, still, I enjoy teaming up with friends and kicking serious bullymong butt.

Otherwise I would say Bioshock, doesn't really matter which one, but I think I liked 2 just that little bit more than one and I haven't finished Infinite, so if pushed I'd prolly say Bioshock 2. Multiplayer in it was a lot of fun as well.

Maybe I'm still hyped over it, but at the moment I'd say Metro: Last Light. I love the Half-Life series also and Left 4 Dead 2 is one of my all time favorites.

Can't say for sure, but these are some of my favourites:

Deus Ex
Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Half-Life
Half-Life 2
Metro 2033
Far Cry (enjoyed the 2nd somewhat too but it was so repetitive)
FEAR + expansions

These aren't all exactly pure FPS games, but they share the same elements.

Been playing a fair bit of Black Ops 2 multiplayer on the PS3 lately, and I've been enjoying that as well.

With the new Krieg/Psycho expansion, I am enjoying Borderlands 2 even more. I loved my Mechromancer, but now I just love blowing stuff up and charging at enemies and slicing them into pieces. The game is just pure violence, shoot and loot and it doesn't pretend to even be sophisticated. I think there needs to be more video games that are just pure carnage, which is why it's a shame Carnage didn't get Kickstarted.

I recorded this gameplay video of playing as Krieg. I think the game looks great as well, I like the style and the physic effects are kind of cool if you have PhysX cranked up.

I played as the assassin class - too bad that melee/stealth wasnt.. more fun

Sniping was fun though^^ Played together with my friend who played as the ehh.. girl... spellcaster girl - no clue her name

Was wicked fun anyway - we finished the game <which we rarely do> and planned on playing through it again - considering it was supposed to be much harder

Sadly enough though.. it wasnt - it was quite depressing...

Last boss sucked xD but the game overall is great - for the experience anyway.. not the difficult combat x)

Yeah I tend to play with a friend of mine as well. I've only played Mechro and Psycho on this one. My friend is usually a Mecromancer as well, though I think he started as a Siren. On the first Borderlands I completed the game as Roland and replayed it as the Berserker (I forget his name). I've not actually played the Assasin or Siren in either, though I love sniping, my Mechromancer tends to use a sniper rifle and shotgun. I have Anarchy for the shotgun, which can be fun, like my Psycho, I can just charge at people and obliterate them, perhaps more so than my psycho, as stacking anarchy can be insane on a shotgun, but you pretty much need to be in close range to have any kind of accuracy.

However, I still need to actually complete it...like a lot of games on my Steam list.

I 100% agree. Having played as mordecai in 1, I found the assassin rather boring. I think the missions were more tedious than the first as well.
