Here is a better option for having voice recognition for dbpro. It uses a small UDP server app created in visual C# 2010 and the UDP commands from the Matrix1 utility plugins. The source for the server is included. The zip file is 36 kb. My last attempt to get this working used the google web speech api which was slow and required an internet connection. Reply if you find any bugs. enjoy

You can use this line of code if you want to exit the program without speaking, or if you do not have a microphone.

Just add that line to force close RecoServer.exe if you press a certain key.

Here is another (very small-5.50kb) program created in visual c# that creates a .txt file from what you say. This program requires that you have done the voice recognition training on your computer or else it doesn't understand what you say most of the time. You can have DarkBasic run this program hidden using my plugin from above. Then have darkbasic read from the txt file it creates. Hope this may come in useful. If you do not trust running the exe in this zip file, I can send the source for it so that you can compile/edit as you wish.

Does anyone have a solution to use .net dll's in darkbasic pro? Been researching this for a few days, but have not had any luck yet.
