Ive been searching for a while and I cant figure out why when I write a program (even a small one) I only compiles in the old user interface version of Dark Basic PRO, In my new interface (update GUI version) the same programs WONT COMPILE!!! I don\'t know what I\'m doing wrong or what update I applied that may have disabled compilation...because the small icon (play button) is greyed out all the time now????

PLEASE ANYONE HELP, I just got the updates for dark physics, dark ai, and extends, I got the bundle deal....but I cant try nothing out until I get around this compilation issue!!!

Maybe you've accidentally linked to a different compiler?
Just a thought.

Actually have same problem for ages, it used to work just fine(worked for many months after I changed to use Editor=EditorNew.exe in cfg file) but at some point after this I started to use Indigo IDE and tried out blue, other variations of synergy and also codesurge, wasnt till relatively recently I discovered the EditorNew.exe was always showing compile as ghosted. I found that if I open a project by association ie double clicking it mostly works fine a lot of the time though, its only when I start the IDE on its own the issue usually shows, and occasionaly any project file that was saved using that IDE does the same when opening project file by association for indigo. The only way to get some projects working is to create a new project in Indigo and save it empty, re-open it and then manually copy paste code into it. If my machine has been on for long periods sometimes something I was compiling fine in indigo suddenly does nothing after compiling and refuses to do so unless I reboot, think this may have something to do with pck files and file association as although the pck error isnt spewed out the pck file is usually sat in same folder as exe after the reboot (the only occasions I`ve seen this file)- Ive used/changed editor many times in past and had to re-associate file extensions to match the change which is part of why I get the feeling this is all related somehow..
