HI all,
Scene and myself are thinking about doing a one off mod with some last features to complete your game.

We was thinking of making it a donation mod where you would donate how much you think its worth but being the smallest donation of £5.

Also we like to donate 50% to Cancer Research and the other 50% would be to cover the cost of making the mod.

We will of course have proof and set up a proper donation system for this so you know the money is going to this cause.

Here are some things we would like to know.

With Reloaded coming would you pay for such a mod ?
What features would you like to see ?
would you like to see duel welding and project blue features ?


I understand things are tight at the moment but this will help us if its worth the time to make a final mod for v1.

The mere fact its a part charitable donation means I would be happy to pay, would you take suggestion for possible features?

To be honest I don't know if many will still use FPSC after release of Reloaded, however I would expect some will continue with it for certain game designs, I also suspect it will be far longer till release than expected and in the meantime it would be cool to see a few of the features I always wanted in FPSC.

It may well be that some of the features you introduce would not be available in Reloaded....so go for it.

I don't trip over...I do random gravity checks.

i plan on using FPSC v1 for a good long time so i would pay for a mod. i would like to see spell casting. if you could match the 3rd person view like in anguel's (?) mod. The duel weapons would be cool..

I think it's great that you would donate to charity.

Sounds good. i will support it.

3 features come to mind
. Minimap, like the one in S4_mod
. Hit detection hud, to see from which direction you're being shot
. Tracer bullets.

This feature does not work very well in standard fpsc as you max out on the 1.85gb faster than standard maps.

Its something to think about if anyone can prove its working for them.

Like s4real said, this feature is very unstable (at least the initial versions were anyway) and is very prone to crashing the engine.

If s4 and SC wish to add this feature, then they can contact me and I'll be glad to give them the code.

This mod sounds like a really good idea, and I applaud you for choosing to donate funds to cancer research.

@The Zombie Killer :- I think this could work as the only problem is people can go over the limit faster with a bigger map.

Maybe the feature has to be added with a monitor of how close you hitting the memory gap.

I would not pay for a mod unless the features more then made up for the money.

The features that I would like would be duel wielding, 3rd person and split screen like this mod. http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=201904&b=21. that's what i think is mostly important to me right now.

Im not sure we get to the point of Player Reflections as this would be a massive feature to code and would need a lot of thinking how to do it.

I would support and pay for this mod too my friends.

My two cents however: few added features (top two or three on the list) and ironing of all the remaining bugs that could be fixed in
a short time. At this point I think that we game developers need the most stable release with the fantastic features FPSC already have.
I suggest you to poll aside from the features the bugs that we users want to be fixed once for all.

Good luck and let us know when you're ready to start
