My friend and I are having this strange problem. Really, it's more my friend's problem.
So, he and I have been trying to play some games online. We usually connect to the same server. The server always is good, speed-wise. His connection is about four times faster than mine. Yet, even when he has no downloads going, no webpages open, no family members using the internet, he still has unbearable lag (about 2 seconds for a gunshot to hit). My lag isn't even as bad as his (About a half a second for a gunshot to hit). My connection speed is 2mbps, his is 6+.
Neither of us are sure what's going on here.
Do any of you have an idea or some advice?

(P.S- Sorry if this didn't make any good sense. I'm writing this at 1AM. I really need some sleep.)
