FPSC Classic Scripts / Flashlight v3 question

I downloaded flashlight v3 and tried it out. It works fine, but it sees to far and I need a flashlight that will only see about ten or twenty feet in front of the player instead of lighting up the entire level. Can someone tell me how to change the range of the flashlight or fog distance?

Hi Mr tibbles
In your "flashlight" script change the "ambience=" setting to a lower number. Should help.

You could add new comand's fogstart=,fogend= after fog=1.

you would have to set them to how you want them.

You could use the newer flashlight scripts using the flashlight feature in fpsc.

All good, if the OP is using a newer version. Unfortunately, the version of FPSC is not specified. Not everyone is using the newest version, which is why it is important to specify when needing help.


There's no problem that can't be solved without applying a little scripting.
