just a quick note before my question -- im not a coder so i will be asking point n click / noob questions... i worked for EA Sports and have 8 titles under my name including Madden 2004, Nascar 2004 and NFL Street..... even tho they mangled my name LOL -- so i have experience, and FPS creator? i wanna know it --- so many memories with an excellent maker!

Anyway - for those that actually read ---- I got the online download links yesterday but i waited until now to dl everything and install.

of course, it asks for the serial number -- but -- its not under my serial codes....... is this normal? based on the ordering process i "think" the codes come next?

or --- should i have received the codes when the process provided the d/l links after the purchase?

It's been a while since I bought this but I think I remember getting an email with the serial number and also being able to find it once you log into the site. Log in, go to my products. At the very top there is a line that says:

You can view your serial codes for products that require serial activation.

Serial codes is a link you can click on and view your data.

yea.... i keep checking there but no email or serial codes ... yet... but it does state the generate the codes.... just didnt think it would take this long ....

not unless i have to wait for the postal delivery and input it manually........ direct dl's really should have the codes before they let you dl.....

I received my serial code last night so my hypothesis was correct....

BASED ON THE ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS -----

we have a genuine code created specifically for the order. i can dig that.

Suggestion:

Try and streamline online ordering a bit better. In other words, even though the product is sent by postal, there should be 5 to 10 orders complete with code for the online download when posted.

How would you feel if you bought a product and then it was dangled in front of you like a carrot for a horse? I understand the security and 2 thumbs up - i do feel safe -

but....

when i went to install and couldnt find a .txt with serial i was heartbroke....

now......

I can get my fix! ------ thanks to any and all help -----
