Hello everyone.

As you can see in the link below,I've put some EAI shaders on the Sporting 12 weapon from model pack 6, but... the hands are all f***** up. And that's the problem.

I'm creating a short game, and I want it to look pretty good (for a FPSC game), and I love MP6 weapons, and I really want those shaders to work.

Can someone help me to fix this?

I would go down to v1.20 beta 17a and use the latest unofficial beta as beta 18 has editor issues and is causing many issues.

This could fix the problem but you may need to add more textures to have the shaders work right.

Ah! And you thought adding a line to the gunspec would do it?



Well, its never easy...unless its easy: You create a new texture scaled 2048*1024. here you copy in your hand and gun texture next to each other. Now you open your 3d software of choice (assuming that you have one, you must know the very basics of UV Mapping here) and you then make sure that the UVS are all set on that new texture.

There should be only one texture for these shaders to work.

Thanks a lot Wolf! I appreciate your help.(Nice G3 btw)

But I'm a newbie in that UV Mapping thing, I don't wanna take your time, and I HOPE that's a very simple thing to explain, well...

I've made the 2048*1024 texture(I'm using the G3 as a test), I've opened Fragmotion... And I just don't know what to do after that (photo attached).

Like I said, I don't wanna take your time, if it's hard to explain, I understand. (you don't need to explain. If you know any tutorial out there on how to do that, I would be very grateful too. ).

Wolf has more experience than me with shaders then me I was only going by that the eai guns always have a d2, n and s texture.

I havent written a tutorial in a while so this will be the next topic since you are not the only one to experience trouble with this.

I might just do it tomorrow simply because I was just out and had a few drinks among friends so my english would be substandart.
