You mean an actual plugin, like a DLL? Or simply DBP code that enables you to do stuff like that?
Writing the code in DBP shouldn't be that hard. Creating a node-UDT as well as an array of that type, constructor/destructor so to say and the visualization, as well as user interaction (which is probably the hardest part). Depending on what you want to do with it an interpreter of some sort. Might be a bit of work but rather straight forward I guess.

I mean dll.I find one old here http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=153634&b=5 but nothing else.Node system is very easy to use when you have to create link between script events in your game. Most of modern game engines use it

What do you mean a 'node' system?

Node system would be cool, I currently use the "unity lua" plugin. Would love to have a node system thoe.

I always wanted to know how to make a node system myself.

Is a node system the same as a tree system? What I see on the example is a menu. What makes it special?

This is simple to do in basic code, just use images and a little imagination. here is a start.

my signature keeps being erased by a mod So this is my new signature.

@Daniel wright 2311, no disrespect my friend, but that code you shown looks like nothing more then an array.

Pincho has the right idea where you assign a function to an image and you move it around and when you combine one image to another, the target gets a different result.

A node, which is an image in this case, is nothing more then an assigned function. When you combine functions the target gets the combined result of both functions. It's a little more complex then that, but that is the gist of it.

I myself at this time, have no idea how to write code that can simulate this, but I am sure there is a simple way to do it in DBPro. It's just a matter of time before someone figures it out.

I use Cinema 4D for my graphics software. What's cool about it is, I can write my own function and assign it to a node. I can then write another function and assign it to another node. I can then combine the two and my target gets a really cool effect based off the two nodes / functions. And there is no limit to nodes. You can make some really cool effects or even ideas off of nodes.

What you are talking about is a UML diagram. This is just a visual style of representing relationships.

The data could literally be anything. Usually it's organized in some object oriented way. That's object oriented as in object oriented programming, like java and not the DBPro "3D Objects".

Hmm, you got a point there.
