Apparently my post is being deleted by a moderator or not being approved.

As a newbie to DBPro I would like some help with some very simple basic questions that should be easy for anyone here to answer:

1) What packages/addons do I need to purchase to make good quality 2d games? I know I need the DBPro package... but there are also tons of other addons and I have no idea what else I would need here. Customer service anyone?

2) Will DarkBasic Pro work on a windows 8 machine? I know that windows 8 is basically windows 7 under the hood.. but that does not mean everything that works with windows 7 will work flawlessly with windows 8. I am asking this because I need to know whether to delay my purchase of DBPro until I build my win7 machine, in a couple of months, or if I purchase it now will I be able to toy around with it using my win8 laptop?
