DarkBASIC Professional Discussion / exe Icon is corrupted

Hi guys. I posted this problem before as well many others have experienced it but no one got an answer.

I'm not managing to to get a good Icon image for the final exe and it always gets corrupted.

Hi basjak, its been a while since I made an icon for my exe's but I do remember that they needed to be in either bmp or ico format, 64x64 or 32x32 pixels and that the top left pixel needs to be of a colour not used anywhere else in the icon image.

Not sure if this is what you need but hope so.

Edit: also needs to be in same place,(folder), as the dba source code, i.e not in a separate "images" folder.

and finally select the icon in the properties tab of the editor.

I recommend using a third party icon tool rather than DBPro's icon tool.

I use IcoFX Portable, which is free.

thanks guys. it worked my mistake is I was using 256*256. juney just reminded me when he mentioned sizes.
