Just installed the latest DBP on a Win7 computer after my old XP machine died... seems to work fine except the compiled exe files won't run. Double clicking them a message window pops up in each case saying: "The parameter is incorrect", from the editor trying to run nothing happens. Got DX9 installed a well, all drivers are up to date...

Any ideas ?

Thanks in advance !

Are you running it as an administrator? (Rightclick the executable and choose the appropriate menu item).

Also, if you haven't relaxed the UAC (google that) it may be that your program doesn't have read/write access to the program files folder where they are created by default.

Tried running as an admin., played with the compatibility modes, also turned UAC all the way down... same issue

This is the Windows7 SP1 bug. Update to the latest official release or the latest beta release.

Here is the link to the official release.
