hey guys
1.i was wondering if anybody could help me out. ive beem messing around with dbp and i want to get a door to open in 3d space and was wondering how i would this using the space bar.

2. i was also wondering if its possible to build a game like baldurs gate in dbp like the camera angle and using a mouse to point a character to somewhere

Basically what he did in that code was make a box (the box ix the door) and made it into a limb. By rotating the limb about the y-axis, he was able to make the door open and close.

he actually didnt make it into a limb, nor did he rotate the limb.

he moved the objects inherent root limb, limb 0 (every object has this), so that the object's center, and therefore point of pivot, is to the side.

this gives it a swing open motion. otherwise the object center would remain centered and rotating the object would just make it spin like a top.
