I just migrated all of my FPSC files to a new laptop. I installed the application and a number of model packs. I'm getting the following error message after loading a project and selecting Test Level. "error while loading obstacles - no such file or directory". I can click through the error (between 10-15 clicks?) then I can test the level.
Any ideas regarding which files I might be missing? I'm currently running FPSC 1.18.017 on a Windows 7 64-bit machine.

I had the same thing happen when I bought a new laptop as well. I keep backups of everything on an ext hd(highly advised). A few
Things you could try: first if you haven't run the cleaner. Run that. Second check your file path to be sure they are correct. Somehow I when I reinstalled a few files ended up in obscure locations and not within the fpsc file. Another thing to check is to be sure all your model packs are installed correctly and the content of the model packs are in the right places. I have found when that error occurs its usually something stupid. Sometimes I have to remind myself that though computers have come a long way from the apple II E I started on many many MANY moons ago. They are still stupid pieces of hardware that you have to guide by the proverbial hand to do what you want.

My guess is that FPSC didn't generate the obstacle map files properly.
Ensure that FPSC is running as administrator.

If that doesn't work, then we have a strange problem here.

@TroutFiles and @ZombieKiller - I appreciate the follow-up. I compared the number of files/folders in each directory, and believe that I was missing files in one of the Mapbank subfolders. I copied the entire folder from my old to new laptop, and the issue appears to be resolved. Thanks for the assistance.
