hey guys

ive been looking up tuts for space invaders and the guy uses CSG commands but when i try to put them in DBP doesnt recgonise them as in they don't turn blue. i was told that the version i have was 7.5 or.6 but the about menu told it was version 1. something, i tried downloading the update but when i try to unrar it it says its corrupt

is there a way to mimic CSG commands with other bits of code?

Hey
I'm pretty sure they're not at the moment, but I know the CSG commands USED to be undocumented (meaning they do work if you run them, but the engine won't highlight them blue). As Brendy says, try running it, it might work anyways! Although to be honest I've always found the CSG commands to be pretty buggy, and they don't usually work well with anything that's not a cube.
The update numbers can be a little confusing at first
The way it works is we say 7.5 or 7.6, but the actual version number is 1.075 or 1.076! So read the last two numbers, and they'll tell you what version you have
You might want to try a different program to unzip the update files (since it does sound like you haven't got the latest version of DBPro), I'm pretty sure the update files aren't corrupted, so the problem might be your program :/
Anyways, good luck!
