It should work since it's not an RT tablet meaning it can run regular windows programs. However, AppGameKit does not support metro apps so you will only be able to run the apps in desktop mode.

Should be fine. Not as powerful as Surface Pro, but half the price.

Thanks The Zoq2 and JimHawkins,
I have bought a Asus VivoTab ME400 Tablet,I was a bit concerned at first due to some negative reviews but as Tesco has a ten day change of mind policy I could'nt really lose.
It is a nice bit of kit runs AppGameKit just fine it also runs Silo 2 ,Fragmotion and Sculptris well, doesn't like Blender 2.68a unfortunately,I still have to try more apps with it

To make full use of the 3D apps a keyboard and mouse will be useful.

Glad it's ok. We're going to see more and more Windows tablets, which I think is good news because I can't be bothered with the Android mess or the Apple paranoid ecosystem.

Looks like there will be a new Surface Pro in the autumn. Want one.

I'd love a proper windows tablet, but for that kind of price I can get a full laptop. (Or fit a new turbo in my race car.) The laptop I'm using now only cost £429, I couldn't justify spending that kinda money again for essentially the same thing but with less functionality.

(Even though I really want one.)
