That may be part of the problem

Mine just points to the fpsc install folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\The Game Creators\FPS Creator" That's all. Then Entity Workshop places all your entities into "Files\entitybank\Entity-Workshop\" when saved.

I'm not sure what you mean here? A .bmp 64x64 pixels is for the "thumb view" image of a model. The .fpe calls for it.
But "Entity Workshop" does it for you when saved. But if you mean you changed the models texture to a .bmp, it wont work so well.
Fpsc mainly uses .tga,.dds & .png's. Jpeg's don't seems to work well anymore, and .bmp are for the "thumb view" only.
