Can someone please tell me why models that I make do not show up in the entitybank of FPSC X9? In the instructions for Entity Workshop it tells you when you first run the exe file. To pick the place when your FPSC software is on your hard drive. But! They never show up under the entitybank. I even made sure the config went to that folder in the FPSC files. Still no models! Can someone provide a word for word instructions on how to install it correctly? I mean I read the instructions over and over and tried everything to get a model to show up in the interface and nothing works. I think the instructions are leaving out details.

@seppgirty What the problem is every time I install that Entity Work shop running the exe. It tells me to pick the FPSC folder. I point the math for the config file to entitybank within FPSC. But the models never show up at all. I just drop the folder Entity Workshop like they say on my desktop and run it.

Oh, My God! That Entity Workshop is going to drive me damn crazy! It makes no sense at all! What the hell! Every time you install the damn thing. Pick the folder where you want the models to go. Which is Files\entitybank\ The models are never there! What in the heck is the damn path!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whoa.. take a deep breath. It's probably just an easy fix.
By chance are you running windows 7 64bit? If so, make sure it's going to "program files (x86) not "program files". That has happened to me before.
best

Also, in the main folder is a file "config.ini" open that and see
where the path points to.

@ncMako Yes, I am using Windows 7 64-bit, but my software The Game Creators is installed on program files not (program files X86). That's the way I installed it.

@ncmako I pointed the config.ini to C:\Program Files\The Game Creators\FPS Creator\Files\entitybank\generic\items

Just decided to put all the models I make in the generic\items folder

The files is a test file that I named box.x and changed a jpeg to .bmp file and made it 64X64

That may be part of the problem Mine just points to the fpsc install folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\The Game Creators\FPS Creator" That's all. Then Entity Workshop places all your entities into "Files\entitybank\Entity-Workshop\" when saved.

I'm not sure what you mean here? A .bmp 64x64 pixels is for the "thumb view" image of a model. The .fpe calls for it.
But "Entity Workshop" does it for you when saved. But if you mean you changed the models texture to a .bmp, it wont work so well.
Fpsc mainly uses .tga,.dds & .png's. Jpeg's don't seems to work well anymore, and .bmp are for the "thumb view" only.

Ya, I installed the engine on another desktop of mine. And installed it like you said in C:\Program Files(X86)\The Game Creators\FPS Creator and it worked perfect.
When I was talking about the 64X64 bmp file. Was I noticed a lot of the models are only bmp and they were 64X64. So I thought that file needed to be bmp. I orignally thought it had to do with the image file for the model. I did not know it was for the icon for the actual item.
Thanks for all the help.
