I still often get requests for 32 bit versions of the exporter plugin. I guess there are still quite a few users of Windows XP and other 32 bit versions of Windows. I had a free afternoon so I compiled 32-bit versions of the plugin for Max 2009-2013. Note that there is no 32 bit version of 3ds Max 2014, Autodesk is only making Max available as a 64 bit application from here on out.

Now 32 bit users can reap the benefits of a more efficient exporter!

@bond1

Do you have a 32bit version that works with 3DS Max 2009?

Thanks

Not at the moment. I would need access to the 3ds Max 2009 SDK, which I don't have handy at the moment. Although I do have 2009 installed on an older PC in my closet

I'll try and dig out the SDK for 2009 to compile it for that version as well. There's a consensus among a lot of pros out there that 2009 was the best version of 3ds Max ever released, so I guess it's worth it

PS - It will probably be a week or so until I have time to do it, FYI.

Wow thanks Bond1. That would be awesome.

I'm very happy with 3DSMax 2009 so I would like to stick with that version for now.

I'll keep an eye on this thread for an update.
