Hi there! I am not too new to Dark Basic, but I haven't used it in a long while. Not to mention that I am not that great on code, but I can do graphics modeling. I am interested in designing a Harvest Moon like game, but I don't want to start big. I just want an Alpha Test Demo which consist of no textures, just models and animations for picking up objects, moving, etc. I want to start there to see how easy or time consuming the basic alpha mode will be to see how far the project can go in what period of time. I can model low poly characters and objects, which is my plan in the first place. I know alot of people who like Harvest Moon games and it would be great if I could keep it low poly for all PC's, low and high end. Again, this isn't a major project or big collaboration, it is a simple alpha build to see how easy the foundation will be to build. I would need someone who can possibly code animation and code objects into the game. I can do all the graphics modeling as far as low poly objects. I have alot of free time so I can always put effort into this alpha project. This is what I am picturing for the alpha demo to look like. A house, that you can go inside, 1 Character, 1 plant, un-grown and grown, pick up the plant, drop it, put it in inventory, sleeping - day and night (possibly), and that is about it. Again, no textures, no effects other than lighting, just simple object and animation import with a little coding on the side for the animations, etc. If I have forgot some type of information regarding this post, please inform me so I can provide the missed info. Not because I wasnt prepared, but because I didnt want to put any details into this yet because I dont want to put a lot of effort into an idea that could possibly go anywhere. All I need are a stick figure basically (not literally) and a cube for a house with an opening and a plane for a plant.
