I wonder what this means for future releases of games to the platform. Is BB worthwhile for TGC to continue supporting with AppGameKit?

RIM have seriously messed-up. Currently, I'd say forget it, but there is a loyal market.

its probably just going to be a buy out.... I wouldn't worry too much about this.

The fact is that millions of people own bb products... whoever buys them are not going to toss the line up and support out the door. And what are they going to do? Toss over a billion bb10 phones in the dumpster....I doubt it.

Actually it is seriously looking like they will go into the secure communications software market and abandon hardware altogether. It's possible what I've heard is wrong but I wouldn't spend too much time on BB at the moment, at least until they make an official comment on their future.

rem something missing here...
start : wakeUp() : gosub work : repeat : readStories() : until getKidsAsleep() = true : sleep(18000000) : goto start

They are completely screwed. They totally misread the market, their consumer feedback is dreadful, and after a couple of years they'll be a dead duck.
