Hello.

I am looking for a source code for a web camera based snap game. I am a music teacher and the idea is for the computer to display the text for a musical symbol (say treble clef) and the person learning has to then find a card with the correct symbol on it and display it in front of the web camera, then they are awarded points.

Is this a possibility is Dark Basic Pro?

Thanks in advance for any information

Web-camera capture is managed by the capture driver; various DLLs implement the required functions, but DBPRO cannot communicate with the web-camera driver without interacting with a DLL of some sort.

There are a number of DLLs mentioned in the following posts, all for capturing images via Web-Camera to your given DBPRO executable:

Tell us all how far you get, then we can assist you with image recognition.

I compiled a working one back in 2009, not sure which one it is though . I am working at the moment so can't try them out.
