Hey guys, feel free to lock this or what not but I'd like to help out a mate who has released his first game!

Paperthin is a randomly generated platformer focusing on replayability, rogue-like aspects and smooth, minimalistic gameplay.

I bought 2 copies and I'm really enjoying it!

Not sure how to link Youtube videos properly :p

Looks like a verry cool game, reminds me of rouge legacy which I really enjoyed so I might have to take a look at this.

It's hard to get excited about yet another indie platformer. The game looks incredibly simplistic and floaty. If this had appeared one or two years ago I might have been interested but we've had dozens and dozens of games with a very similar aesthetic and design in that time. It looks well made but that's no reason for me to want to play it, I don't see anything unique or interesting about this game. Once again I'm quite disappointed in the lack of creativity from people who are obviously skilled and hard-working.

to be fair, if it is done by a one man band, he could easily have started the project two years ago when it was still creative and unique and is just now finishing. agreed though I'm getting tired of all the indie platformers

It looks OK; it is not the worst platformer in the world; there are better looking projects in the AppGameKit community. I agree with the above two posts; but a number of things could have been added to make it more unique and still be a platformer.

OMG.
Another monochrome indie platformer. Yay... There must be a generic editor for such generic games!

Also a weak clone of this:

You should write a tutorial about: How to just completly crush a project and not constructive at all while doing it.

The procedural thing is interesting, but there'd have to be something special in there to compare it to something like Spelunky. How do you know the guy, Fuzz? Full props for making a game and getting it out there!! It's no mean feat, and should be applauded.

Meh meh, the game is fun ^^ A bit clunky to get into, i do believe it would be easier with a controller though xD

PS: I like your profile pic, Fuzz ; )

Yeah, it's a lot easier with a controller but I can get pretty far with a keyboard.

I would not say that I don't like it; I just don't see anything interesting, catchy or original both in gameplay and visual style, I just don't see what I may like (and pay for).

Looks really nice man. Just completing something like that takes a lot of effort, gameplay looks fast & fluid.

Learning DarkGDK, then AppGameKit!

Not bad for is his first game; imagine how good the next one will be.
