v1.11 is the best version with mature patch.

You will definately want to use Mystic Mod which gives X10 some much needed features.

The biggest problem with X10 is the lightmapper is really bad even if you bump up the quality settings. Its actually worse than X9 in that respect so I would recomment FPSC X9 v120 with BETA 17a for the best experience.

Of course FPSC Reloaded is going to blow X9 and X10 away when it gets released.
