Check out Model Packs #68, and #69, #58, #56. Do a search in the FPSC Models and Media forum using WWii and then ww2 for the key word. There is free media in this forum. This will help you make decisions on the environment. I know the model packs are expensive for a young person but you don't have to buy them all at once. I probably wouldn't buy any MPs until you know exactly what your story line is going to be.

You can google "WW2 stories" and also "WW2 campaigns" to get an idea for your own story line.

Also, I just thought about the movies. There are plenty of WW2 movies out there. Especially the ones made in the 50s. If you can find a way to watch some of these that sound interesting you can get an idea from them as well.

This is basically how I come up with my story lines. From movies and TV.

Same here. I watched "WWII In Color" to get some ideas. Saving Private Ryan was also an interesting take on WWII. I'm pretty sure Metal of Honor was strongly influenced by that film.

Good start Grip. Seeing the big guns I thought of a great movie called "Guns of Navarone." 1961. It's not on Youtube. People tried to upload it but it was blocked.

Another one made in 1963 is "The Great Escape." This is about a group of soldiers (all star cast with Steve McQueen as the lead) who escape from a Nazi prisoner war camp. There's not a lot of fighting but it does show a POW camp from WWII. You can easily glean stuff from this.

WWII movies on youtube.

If it helps at all for ideas, my grandfather was dropped out of planes in ww 2 so he secured the area and killed the enemies in the area so the planes could land.

Hope this helped.
